Treasure Friends

Treasure Friends and Create incredible memories

My daughter and I both adopted puppy girls this summer and they quickly became best friends.  I adore these photos of the two of them out in the garden.  It looks like they are carrying on a conversation.  Since I think they are so incredibly cute I have decide to give all puppy lovers repeated views of these pics!  lol!!  8)
I created the center piece with these awesome chippies from Creative Embellishments.  They are so much fun to play with and layer.

 This is my journaling.

Back to school house

                              Back to School House

Today's challenge #16 over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous is all about using office supplies.

My project was inspired by Graphic 45 design team member Keri Sallee's Steampunk Spells Spooky little house.  The base of this project is a typical file folder trimmed and folded like a piece of origami.  You can view Keri's video on how to fold the folder here.  Does anyone out there remember the song "To Sir with Love" and the move with said title?  It is a very inspiring movie about growing up and preparing yourself for the world.  So on the inside is a picture of my daughter preparing to write her story.
September for me is a time for hitting the books and back to school.  I thought Graphic 45's Typography collection was perfect for this little red school  house.
I used the 8x8 papers.  The base of the house is cut to 6" wide and 8" high.    The triangles of the roof are 8" by 4" cut into triangles.
Here you can write notes about special childhood memories.  There is a pocket to leave a  note.

The tiles of the roof are made up different shapes from circles to arrows traced and cut from card stock tag sheet.  The flowers are from a small flower punch.

This is where it all began.

Admire beauty

Scrap Around the World has just inspired me so this month.  I love fairy tales!  Proms bring out the fairy essence in every girls life.  I took this picture of my daughter as she prepared for the prom.

Instead of showing you her messy room I put her in a fairy glen filled with flowers, moss, feathers and leaves.

Here I combine two pieces of Creative Embellishment chippies to create this corner piece.
Thank you for stopping by today to see what the papers are saying.  I always enjoy your visit.  Til next time have a fabulously magical weekend!

A Beautiful Day

                                 A Beautiful Day

Earlier this week I was invited to join the Creative Embellishment    Design Team!  I was over the moon with excitement.  I am a huge fan of their product as you can see by this design.

Scrap Around the World mood board this month is all about fairy tales.  As I pulled by the lace canopy from the bassinet I discovered a baby prince.  He is the prince of my heart, my first grandchild.
The bassinet is nestled in a flower covered meadow protected by the fairies.
At the tip of this floral grouping is a tooth pick.
Here are some close ups of the beautiful Creative Embellishment chipboard pieces.  Simply magical
